An improved method for computing Hankel transform

The purpose of this paper is to compute the Hankel transform F_n(y) of order n of a function f(x) and its inverse transform using rationalized Haar wavelets. The integrand is replaced by its wavelet decomposition. Thus representing F_n(y) as a Fourier-Bessel series with coefficients depending strongly on the local behavior of the function , thereby getting an efficient algorithm for their numerical evaluation. Numerical evaluations of test functions with known analytical Hankel transforms illustrate the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

This article addresses the concept of educational third spaces that move beyond the paternalistic concept of a teacher as a font of knowledge filling the empty vessels of the students’ minds, especially for foreign-born Latino (FBL) students. These students often struggle and lag behind their native-born peers as they master the new language of instruction while acculturating to a new and challenging environment. However, as digital natives, current elementary FBL students have the potential to empower themselves via the use of educational technology.
